Now there's a tsunami warning for San Diego County. A big quake off the coast may set off a giant wave. Good thing I live on a hill.

My husband's on the Balboa Pennisula an they're being evacuated. We should know in 20 minutes or so if a tsunami hits San Francisco. If one hits land, it'll be around 1015 in San Diego.

Its been cancelled. I had my grandmother getting all her diabetic stuff together grabbing up my little brothers jacket and put it all by the door. Thank God

That was pretty scarey!

The good thing was I had visitors for a couple hours. My daughter and grandkids and her mother-in-law who just come to vistit today drove over. She lives on NAB on the Strand!

Her husband is on duty on the ship at 32nd street.

The first I heard of it was on NBC39 when the lady news anchor, whose name escapes me, kept saying, there is no threat to San Diego, There is NO threat to San Diego, There is no THREAT to San Diego.

The quake was right near the Oregon/California border, so that's about 18 hours by car away from here. My poor son was going to bed, turned on his radio and heard tsunami. Took a while to calm him down.
