Default Surgery, New Car, finally falling into place...

I'm so excited. Things are really looking on the upside for me lately. As of tomorrow I'm trading in my current automatic Toyota Celica for a manual Celica (my dream) and in 2 weeks I will be on the losing side of the Stapler's crew, hehe.

It feels like everything I've always wanted is finally happening and it's awesome. Now I just have to worry about graduating college in March and finding a job.

Anyone else feel like their lives are finally what they want them to be??

Here's a pic of the new car, I can't wait to pick her up tomorrow

The light blue one is the new one and the dark blue one is the car I'm trading in.

I'm so happy for you that everything is falling into place!

I feel today is great but tomorrow will be better. I guess what I'm trying to say is yes, I do feel my life is what I hoped it would be.

Hi Jennimaria, when I was told that I was approved for surgery I felt as thugh I had one the lottery. It was the most uphoric experience of my life. I f was so excited to hear that I was finally going to get what I wished for, a thin healthy life! I must admit I had some expectations about what the surgery would do for me socially and romantically..... that fell through. I was on a high until about my 7 month, then I became a bit depressed. I had some therapy, stayed in support group and came through it... and NOW I can say that I am on the ultimate high. Life has it own trials and tribulations, but you learn to work through them one day at a time, without the Ho-Ho's and thats empowering to me.

I wish you nothing but continuing success! Congrats on the new wheels, they are HOT! Glad your gonna be my sister n stuff!

Aww thanks guys for all the kind words. After the last few years being really crappy I'm just so happy that this year has some good in store. I guess you could say I'm a really happy person as is (a fatty), but the WLS will improve my health immensly.

Bridgetgirl: Who needs romance when you've got a hot car, hehe. Ya know the car won't cheat! No seriously, I hope I get some of my romantic life back, but it sure will take time.

It's so great that a simple (yet complex) tool such as WLS can basically change your entire life around. Crazy stuff I tell ya.

If I were a guy I would probably find women who drive big Suv's or trucks really sexy. I dunno why. But..I'm not a guy so ya know.

For me, men in uniform are hot. I'm wierd...

Misty: Sometimes the looks aren't all that, hehe. I can't even pick my nose while driving!!
