Thumbs up Over the Physc Eval Hurdle!

I'm so excited! I saw my evaluator today and she is writing my release letter. She said it should be at the Dr's office with in 3 days. She almost tried to pull a fast one but I reminded her she said 8 weeks and this was 8 weeks! "Oh! Is that what I said?" Duh!!

She also said that Dr Potts had called and talked to my first therapist (who I am not going to now) That really suprised me, I just figured he kinda forgets about you until all your stuff is in and goes to dictation. WRONG!! He wanted to find out how things were going with me, if I was ready yet! COOL HUH?!

I am sure the girls in the office think I am crazy (sorry can't remember their names) I went in after my appt. and she asked for my name and I said, (among my intense babbling) "Oh I don't have an appt I just talked to my phsyc eval and she is releasing me and I just wanted to get a new schedule and bla bla bla bla bla..." She was really sweet though.

ANYWAY!!... I am hoping to go to the meeting on Thursday, but I will have to wait and see cause it is my granson's graduation (going up to middle school) It is during the day and I don't think we are doing anything after. I'll just have to wait and see.

So hopefully I will be in dictation next week, the receptionist said they are pretty caught up and it might only take a week but still gave me the 3-4 week spiel.

I shouldn't be this excited cause it still has to go to Insurance but Lisa didn't think that would be a problem.

OK, OK I will quit babbling
See you all soon.

Yeah!!! you are getting closer by the minute. I am gonna try and go to the post op meeting Thursday if my body can handle it. I get tired really easy, but the hernia repair / TT was great in comparison to wls. Wls was much more painful.

Hope to see ya at the meeting!!

This is great news Marcia. You are well on your way. I hope they get that paper work in soon. I know you are going to be more stressed out at this stage of the process more then any other stage. The waiting game sucks. But of course you have all of us to keep you going if needed. My prayers are with you marcia.

I'm so excited for you!!!! Yeah, I think that's pretty special for Dr. Potts to be checking up on you.

It won't be long before you're a looser!

Default Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!

Marcia,

I'm so glad for you. Also, I had Dr. Potts and he's the greatest. I'll show you my scar. A plastic surgeon couldn't have done any better and he is thorough and extremely funny. You're in great hands.

Terry
