Talking Thank God for this Forum

I just wanted to thank all of you guys for being such a big fun part of my day.

For whatever reason my anxiety level was really high today at work. I felt close to hyperventalating a few times for no reason whatsoever. (I suffer from anxiety and this happens to me every once in a blue moon...) I just stopped working, took a break and logged on to the GB Forum, and now I'm much better.

Thanks for being such a fun crowd!

This place is such a regular part of my life, I can't even go to bed until I have logged on and looked things over. Make sure everyone is okay, feeling good, and not needing anything. I love you people... and thank God for each and everyone of you!

By the way Rain... what a pretty new picture you have up! Also when I was at the general pre-op, some of us were talking about the forum afterwards. How much information we had! We were mostly all pre-op, and found ourselves knowing the answers to 99% of the questions that were asked, not because we lived it ourselves, but because we have lived it vicariously through so many of you! The fact that I am going into this with sooooo much knowledge I have gained from you all, gives me such peace of mind! This is the best tool, for understanding your new tool! They need to "advertise" it more at the educational seminar! Anyway... just wanted you all to know how valuable you all are to me!

Anxiety is a pretty common prob with morbidly obese peeps! Part of the wiring I guess. I have gone through the panic attack, anxiety attack years. Started when Iwas a kid. I take ativan everyday (have for about 14 years now). And have never had panic attacks again. They are really scare. I used to have a whole bag of coping skills tricks I used too! Coming online and getting your mind vegged long enough to get through the anxiety is a great way to cope!!
