I asked this long ago, but never really got an answer. I really wish I'd have remembered to run it by my doc for curiosity sake. I don't use it, but would look at options in the future as I get further out to help me stay healthy. Anyone know???

I know this is an old post...but I came across data as to where the Pouch Rules for Dummies came from - note the date this document was written...I wonder how much it has changed since then. I know my doctor is giving out new information on GBP, than he did 8 months ago with me! Procedures change as does advise....I still like to read all this stuff, but ensure that my doctor knows about it.

Default I agree

I took all this with a grain of salt. The one thing that I got out of it is, on the days when I have the munchies, I do pump liquids, and it slows down the cravings. And liquids are probably my toughest requirement, as I can't drink plain water, and have found very few commercial, diet, non-carbonated drinks that appeal. I've found out that my body still mistakes thirst for hunger, and I guess it always will.

The rest of it - as someone said much earlier in the thread - take what you need and let the rest go.
