Baja, sorry about your ankle that sounds so painful and hope it improves

Doubtful my dear, doubtful...thats not being negative, its reality!!, the broken leg and knee is the worst, and with that also, maybe with some of the weight going away, some relief may be seen!!!

Fingers crossed, and maybe someday legs crossed!!!

And the Dr prescribed up to 12 Norco (vicodin) a day!! yikes

My OXY Rx is only for 30 days. Don't know what I'll do after. It's only to get me through the pain til I have hernia surgery. Doc wants me to lose more weight for better healing and less recurrence chance.

I'm glad... heck, you are too, that you were finally properly diagnosed. No tears.

I think my mother suffered from it too, but back then the docs all told you "it's all in your head". She's in her 80's now and everything hurts. The fibro word never made it out of any docs mouth, but she's on strong daily meds anyway. It helps.

Day 396: One-derland - 153 lbs gone forever! (my pic progression)

Starting BMI: 60.4 / Current BMI: 33.6

Nearly 16 TEN pound bowling balls down... OMG, let me pinch myself!

I don't want to know how much I have left to lose -- I find it encouraging to see how far I've come!

You're right. Knowing is so much better than going from specialist to specialist and not knowing what's wrong with you and thinking you may never know. Still, if it had just laid dormant forever, I'd be a lot happier. Your mom has lived a long time with it so I know it won't kill me. Actually, I've heard a few doctors say "Having fibromyalgia won't kill you, it'll just make you wish you were dead." Still.. proper diet, exercise, and medication and I think I can get through this and get back to work.
