Default Hey everyone......

I am glad to hear you are all doing well.

I am down 60lbs and fitting in a SIZE 12!!! crazy... I feel like I really don't know how to shop or have any sense of fashion but I do feel much better!!
I went to Lane Bryant the other day because that is all I have known forever and I was going to NYC the next day.. I really needed black pants.
The 14 pants were WAY too big!! (I guess they call them size 1 now) anyhoo... I was happy to longer fit but also frustrated because the lafayette talls have been my favorite black pant for years....

I can eat anything.. anything anything anything... I have never dumped before (unless that is what it is when I shake after a margarita) maybe that is dumping......

Glad all is well...

oh yeah... I DO NOT EXERCISE AT ALL RIGHT NOW...ANYONE HAVING THIS PROBLEM???

You sound EXACTLY like me...right down to the Margarita! Except I had uncontrollable diarrhea instead of shaking.

Ok well hi
My name is Christy. I'm 20 almost 21. Had my surgery June 16th. Was only in the hospital for a day and night. Um... Lost almost 100lbs. My hair is falling out. Had my gall bladder removed due to severe gall stones about a month ago. I'm tired all the time (probably cuz I work like 50 hrs a week, no joke) But other than all the craziness I am very happy I had the surgery. I do feel happier not fitting in my clothes but this time its the right not fitting lol. So yea.... That's me. Dont quite know what else to say so if anyone wants to talk feel free to message me.

Default Well done fellow Junies!!

I AM a little jealous,I have to admit-all you young things losing it SO quickly. I am down 50 lbs which is great for me and I am feeling really good-no problems so far at all.My arms are sagging and so is the top of my thighs,so have started a bit of gym(how I hate it!)and aqua aerobics(yaa fun!!)
I can really identify with the clothes problems-I am down from a 26 to a 20(18 in the USA)but WANT to keep wearing BIG clothes. My sister is giving out to me saying that I should be proud of my new body shaping up but I feel so....exposed.
People are now noticing which is nice.Hair falling out too!
Has anyone had a problem with it NOT GROWING? I am not even having to get the colour in anymore as the regrowth isnt there!!
IS EVERYONE GETTING THEIR PROTEIN IN? -would love if some of you posted a typical days eating-heres mine today
Brekkie-half a weetabix,milk and 2 tablespoons natural yogurt.
Lunch-handful peanuts.1 slice of ham.babybel light
dinner-salmon.teasp potato(called "SPUD" in Ireland!)grilled tomato
Plan on having later-a lemon yogurt-yum
Keep up the good work!!

Talking

my menu is basically as follows(it varies daily. seriously):
Breakfast lately: one slice whole wheat toast w/ 2 T. of PB, and a sliced banana.
Snack/lunch: A protien shakčwhich last me about 3-4 hrs.

some day I may try to eat 1/2 of an Atkins bar(cant eat more than that)
Dinner varies too: A protien, ie. grond chicken burger around 3 oz., or tuna fish salad 3oz or less. Today I mixed about 1/4 cup of tuna salad and 1/8 cup seafood medley, and had 5 saltine crackers. I am stuffed! LOL!
I haven't lost any hair that I know of, but I have natural kinky hair and I keep it in cornrolls, heavily moisturized and take about 2500 mg of Biotin daily. Not to mention I think my nutrient in take now may be better than it was preop.
So there's my food daily, hope this helps. Have you trien Biotin, and not handling your hair so much? ie. combing, putting in ponytails instead of down? I know that we all have different hair types, depending on ethnicities, but its just a suggestion. Also GNC has a hair, nail, and skin formula that works wonders, I'm not sure if its safe for us though, but I'll check when I go back!
One more thing... CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR FABULOUS SUCCESS LADIES!! Looks like the CLASS OF JUNE 2008 is working this tool!

Hey guys,
Glad everyone is doing so well and keeping the spirits up. I have dropped right at 100 lbs and feel great. I too am losing my hair, which is the hardest part of this for me. I don't get hungry yet, so I have to just stick with a daily routine. I don't really enjoy food that much. I have my chocolate Unjury shake with milk in the am, some type of soup, or beans or tuna type protein for lunch and another protein shake at night. If I get snacky I eat a Popsicle sugar free fudge bar, cheese, nuts or sf pudding. I try something new every week just to keep new things around, but for the most part I am glad eating is not my life anymore. I walk everywhere, am not afraid of stairs as before, smile like a crazy woman and am so glad I loved myself enough to take this journey. You should all be proud of yourselves, and you should tell yourself that daily. One of my favorite things to do is at each meal, I tell myself what I would be eating if I had not had the surgery, then I tell myself how proud I am that I'm not that person anymore. Makes me feel good and reinforces the way I work my tool. Keep up the great work!!!

Default June 2008 stapler~~1 year later

Unfortunatly for me, I weigh 200lbs. I can eat anything and everything with no limitations or side effects. Sooo, that means that I only lost 53lbs. I do not eat as much as I am sure that I can, I limit the amount.
