Its funny how we all differ,I noticed it off my hands and feet first but its my BUM(which actually wasnt the biggest part of me)that its gone off. Big belly still there tho!!
How much are you all eating for your dinner/lunch?I am terrified that I am eating too much.I eat about three quarters of a cup of ground beef or soft fish. Can sometimes fit a little bit of lettuce(bliss!)
I would be interested to know how much you guys are eating?

Sometimes I think I can eat too much too!

I am a bit puzzled tho that nobody I meet has remarked on it-husband says it regularly ok but anyone else just says they think I am looking well.I FEEL so much thinner I think it should be showing-maybe because I have so much to lose??
|
I met up with 2 friends the other night for dinner and both said that I looked good but not much else. Now I am down 52lbs since they last saw me. I thought about why they didn't think more of the loss and I realized a couple of things, one, that they have seen me at this weight before (due to yo-yo diets) and two, that I am still a large woman. So even though I am excited and completely happy with my progress it might be a long time before someone who has always known me to be so big will get that wow moment from seeing me. Keep up the progress your doing great! All I really care about right now is staying healthy and smiling everytime I put on a pair of pants that are too big for me and I just bought them two weeks ago No one will share in your happiness like yourself!!

Thanks! yes,I think that sounds about right.Aren't you so right about the fact that no one will enjoy this happiness like yourself too! same as no one really understood the misery of having to arrange your clothes to make sure the bulges weren't showing too badly when you sat down. You are doing great-keep it up!!Sue

Well, I am very proud to say that I have finally hit the 50lbs. lost mark! WOOHOO!!! I feel absolutely GREAT!!! I have sent pictures to my family back home and they are very excited for me! My husband really likes the changes, LOL
However, I am starting to feel self causious. Everything is going south! My belly is starting to really hang and my boobs are getting flatter and longer, UGH. Its starting to get nasty but the way I feel doesn't change how much energy I have now and how much better I feel with 51lbs gone!!! I really hope my insurance will cover my plastics, thats all I am worried about!
As far as food goes... I suck at eating! I don't know what to cook!!! I wanna eat more often than I do but there is just really nothing I can eat, ya know? I'm gonna go browse the recipe section here in a few but I hope I like the food I find, and I hope I find the will to cook it! I have been doing horrible with my protien intake! Those shakes sit soooo heavy in my pouch, seems like my pouch becomes a brick! I am looking into making my own protien bars thanks to a post on here somewhere.
Well, thats about it with me, started working out kinda sorta. I have been walking on a more reg. basis and started doing some workout videos. Okay, I look forward to hearing from some of ya! TTFN!

Hey Landi, and fellow June Staplers! How are u all! I hope fabulous! As for me I can't complain! I feel great most of the time, I think I have the flu or a cold or something though. Not to mention went to the latin festival yesterday and got drenched!
But anyway, I'm not quite sure how much I've lost ( I only weigh at dr appts.), but I'm definitely noticing a difference in my clothes! Yesterday, I put on a pair of jeans I haven't worn in over 4 yrs!!! And my booty looked gooood! Those dominicana men were drooling! And my dgt's dad, well lets say he's more than enthused! Yesterday, he said, you are so beautiful, u look like a chocolate Jill Scott! I am definitely reaping the benefits!
Oh and Landi, try the FIRM workout tapes! They really work, the tighten your muscles, and help shrink the fat! Also, to avoid saggy breast try ALWAYS to wear a sports bra, when not wearing a regular bra, it helps with the sagging! Well looser I hope you all are doing great! Hope to hear from u all soon! Hows it going guys?
Well, I haven't heard from my June 08, people in awhile, most of us are about 4 months out. Soooo how's it going? I hope fabulous for you all!
As for me I really can't complain! I feel normal I'm down about 70 pounds and I feel fabulous most days ( accept like right now when my period is about to start! TMI? lOL) I went for my 3 mo visit, my bloodwork was fine except my platelets were low, so I'll be eating more spinach and leafy greens! I love them so Yay! I have really increased my exercise lately, and my pants are falling off! LOL! I was afraid to do abdominal excercises, becuz I don't want a hernia, but now they feel normal! My dgt wrapped her arms around me completely the other day which brought many tears! Just so many things are good right now as far as my health and personal life. I could use a good job, but I have thrown all my burdens on Jehovah, there is only so much I can do anymore, and I am grateful for everyday I wake up healthy and happy! God is so good, and I know never will he allow the righteous on to totter! So it all good. Well ya'll let me stop rambling! Thank you all for the love and support over these last 4 months. I love you all! Now it's your turn so tell us "How goes it?"

Almost four month out...
Well lets see...I too have dropped about 70lbs, just over it and then BAM! My first serious plateu!!! I'm okay with it, I expected it but man its a stinker! LOL I'm down four pant sizes and it feels great! I am however just a little depressed with how I look naked! LOL I hate all the gravity pull in my lower region! LOL I just had my three month check and he says things seem fine, time to do some abdominal exercises and workout more often, one hour five days a week! So, I've been trying ALOT harder to get to the gym or even to my little make shift gym in my basement. He also says we might be able to do my plastics in April! That would be great but just as long as my body is ready then I'm ready!
I love my new found energy, its nice to be able to run, well jog a little faster, LOL I'm stuggling with my eating tho, I never know what to eat so I tend to snack alot, and I cannot have ground Turkey! NO WAY!!! Its final, I've had it about three times, all with a different way of fixing it and I've never been able to keep it down! UGH! But I'm thinking about adding beef to my diet soon here, when I am not so chicken about it, LOL Speakin of chicken...I LOVE chicken, even more than I did pre-op!
Welp, I gotta go get my boy of the school bus! Hope you all are doing well!!! Happy Losing!
