Hey ya'll! I haven't checked in awhile! Everything is going pretty good, minus the head hunger!! Boy oh boy! Head hunger is NO punk!
I've been able to eat pretty much eat everything so far, just really really small portions! I think I did have a slight "dump" the other day, off of a chicken tender( I made from scratch!) It might not have been a dump, I could have just eaten too much! I just know I had to lay down, and finally fell asleep! My weight loss is going great! 31lbs GONE FOREVER! So I can't complain! I feel like I'm so much further out, when actually it will be a month tomorrow! I am so looking forward to the rest of my life, and I'm definitely looking forward to hitting the beach in the Bahamas, in June 2009! Maybe, i'll go to Brazil, can we say THONG on a public beach!! LOL! Well I hope all is well with you all! Keep up the fabulous work!!

Default Can't believe I missed this...

Hi everyone!! My surgery was June 9th also and I have done very well. I am having an issue now with protein shakes because they are making me gag!! I have to find a different one I think...
I stalled also for weeks 4-6ish. So frustrating. I lost 30 pounds the first month and now I think only about 4-5 more since. it's annoying but I'm trying to stay off the scale.
I havent dumped yet but got sick once from chicken I ate too fast. stuck feeling, foamy, threw up liquid only...it was weird the chicken stayed down--then I just fell asleep. atleast I think it was just stuck..I dont really know the diff between stuck and dumping.

Foods I am enjoying:
FAGE 0% yogurt!! love it. It has 20g of protein in 1cup (I can only have 1/2c so far)--I eat it with berries and splenda every morning--YUMMY!!
lentil soup, ground turkey with pasta sauce, taco soup (homemade), fish, chicken, tortilla soup, egg flour soup, pork loin, frozen berries defrosted with splenda!!yum, wendys chili

havent tried any sugar yet..I'm too nervous

Smile Just wanna say hi...

Hey everyone? How are all you June 2008 Staplers??? Anything new going on lately?
Nothing here. I lost a few more pounds but I really shouldn't be looking at that darn scale, LOL Maybe I should join "Scale Whores" group! haha but seriously! LOL

I have SO MUCH ENERGY! I don't know what to do with it! LOL I have re-arranged my living room twice today! LOL I have done most the laundry, cleaned the kitchen spotless and now I am here! lol The DH and I are about to head off to the gym, which I am REALLY excited about! I haven't been since a few weeks before surgery! Its hard to juggle the kids and gym but as soon as we figure it all out again it will be fine! I've never been with my hubby to the gym before, a girlfriend of mine and I usually leave our kids with DHs and head off together. Also, the gym we were origanally going to has closed due to renovations and won't be open till Novemberish.
WOW, sorry its getting to be a long "HI" lol I will get out of here, gotta get going anyhow I hope to see some more postings here and hear back from all of you! Happy losing!

Hi there June staplers!!

glad you are all doing well and seeing the weight come off.

I can't believe what a trouble free recovery I have had!! I am truly blessed.
I am back at work since week 4 and have lost 30 lbs+(I am saying +as its more on my scales than the hospitals!!) I have good energy and am happy to feel my clothes loose for a change.

I am a bit puzzled tho that nobody I meet has remarked on it-husband says it regularly ok but anyone else just says they think I am looking well.I FEEL so much thinner I think it should be showing-maybe because I have so much to lose??
Anyone else had the same experience? I mean I am down 2 sizes,I would have thought it was glaringly obvious!!

You are so lucky to be down two sizes! I lost 28 and I'm still in the same size.

I've lost 39lbs since surgery and 10 more before surgery and I haven't changed sizes yet. I have noticed a loss in my arms, face, neck and legs, but alas my belly..sigh... I know it will go eventually.

One thing I have noticed is the relieved feeling I have when I see an article in a magazine or online for some new or old way to lose weight, the fact that I don't have to go there. I used to read them all knowing that if I tried it I might lose but eventually I would gain it back again. It's very freeing to know I don't have to go down that road again. I don't know if this makes any sense it is hard to explain.

Yeh, but look at you-under the 200 mark-wowee-thats a goal of mine!!
Its funny how we all differ,I noticed it off my hands and feet first but its my BUM(which actually wasnt the biggest part of me)that its gone off. Big belly still there tho!!
How much are you all eating for your dinner/lunch?I am terrified that I am eating too much.I eat about three quarters of a cup of ground beef or soft fish. Can sometimes fit a little bit of lettuce(bliss!)
I would be interested to know how much you guys are eating?
