Question Body Lift

Is there anyone out there who has the insurance approve a "behind" (butt) lift? I need one and was wondering what kind of questions the insurance companies ask.

Thanks guys

I haven't heard of insurance paying for a butt lift. It depends on how severe and what type of complications you have. If it impedes movement or causes rashes and infections, then it may get covered.

I too was told that I would benefit from a LBL but insurance only covered the tummy skin. I do have to say that I don't think I really need the back side lifted but maybe she felt it was for the overall look of the body. I don't know. Good luck.

I was told by an area plastic surgeon that the insurance around here will only cover a pannectomy and a breast lift and/or reduction. I guess the insurance companies only cover the things they feel are "reconstructive" vs. "cosmetic".

I have a deal with my surgeon and doctor, that every time I get a rash from skin on skin, I will not self medicate before consulting them. That way it strengthens my case for plastic surgery when that time comes.

It's worked well for others, so hopefully it will work for you and I!
