Cool the start of my journey

I just figured I'd drop a few lines to update since I interduced my self. Well I decided to have the bypass over the lapband, went to the Dr. and he thinks it's a better choice also. We still have some time before I can have it done, but I just recieved my schedule from the Dr.s office and the six months will go pretty fast. I have alot of appointments, as you all know how it is. I have a surgery date of December 1st. I'm really glad I found this forum for support, you all have been great and I am proud of all the hard work you have done. I just hope I do as well as most of you all say you did. But if I can stop smoking cold turkey almost 7 years ago, I can do this. Thanks for listening

I don't want to know how much I have left to lose -- I find it encouraging to see how far I've come!
