Default Just Asking/Stomach pain

Back in December, I had a pain right under my ribs, all across the front and it radiated around to the back. The first two times weren't too bad, but the third time was awful. I ended up on the floor at work, my husband was called to come and get me. I went to the doctor and he did tests and decided that my galbladdar had gone south, so I had it removed shortly thereafter. A few weeks later I had the pain again. My doctor ran tests again and said that they showed nothing. Then three days ago I had a couple of small pains and then a really big one (that put me on the floor again) and then another one tonight. I go back to the doctor at the end of the month for a follow-up. I was wondering if any of you guys have experienced anything like this? Thanks.

That sounds really similar to the pain I had when I got Kidney Stones. It radiated right around to the back and was really really severe. I was bawling like a baby (which I never do) and just didn't want to live.

I'd say if it's bad enough to put you on the floor then you should be heading for the ER - don't wait til the end of the month for sure - your body is trying to tell you something!

UTI and kidney infections can cause the same kind of pain.

Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in the ring~

Did this happen AFTER (or while) you ate? This happens to me if I've eaten too fast or something too dry. The pain starts under my ribs, then radiates to my back.

If I had pain that brought me to my knees...I'd contact my doctor and demand to be seen ASAP!

I went in about a month ago and had a catscan that came back fine. I'm going in next week. It happened maybe an hour or so after I ate a rice cake last night, but I can't remember the other times. I'm a year and 5 months out, could something like that happen after all that time? When it happened back in Dec. the dr. said that I was passing a gallstone and he took out my gallbladder. Anyone who wants to add their two cents is welcome. I'm just so glad I have this forum to come to. I really appreciate all the help that just going through these threads is to me. I'm not much of a talker but I visit just about every day. Sometimes I feel alone. My family is great with all the changes I have gone through, and the ones they have had to go through also with me, but they don't always get it. I'm glad you guys do.

My Friend At Work Had The Same Thing Happen To Her And The Dr.said It Might Be A Ulcer In Her Pouch. Just Thought I Would Throw That Out There. I Does Not Happen Often But It Can Happen They Just Put Her On Some Kind Of Antacids For Now.
