Smile Super big WOW!!!!

Just needed to share my big news with someone...today i was finally told I could stop taking my daily insulin!! What a huge hurdle I have overcome. I had my surgery just 3 months ago and have lost 62 pounds. Never thought this would happen so soon. My weight loss had been slowing which the doctor blamed on the insulin. I will be taking a pill for my diabetes before dinner everyday but that won't be aything compared to being shackled to an insulin bottle and syringe everyday. Yahoo for me and this wonderful surgery I had!!!

That is VERY awesome news! Woo hoo...

I am still in the 'titrate' stage of my insulin.. I've used it only twice in the last few weeks.... with really good numbers so far.. we can celebrate together.... my surgery was a week after yours.. so we're almost pod-mates
