Decided I wanted to do it and went to the free seminar on April 26, 2007. Was approved June 8th by anthem bc/bs, wheeled into the o.r. to have surgery on July 30th. I could had had scheduled surgery earlier in July but due to vacations at work could not get off work any earlier. Good luck.

I decided over 4th of July last year. I couldn't get insurance approval so put off thinking about it. It came back up again in February of this year - started the process again around the 1st of March and my surgery is on the 12th - so technically 10 months

I decided in March and had the surgery in September. About six months from beginning to end!

I decided to have surgery in May of 2007. I completed the six month supervised diet in December. Then, March was the first opening my surgeon had.
