Default On My Way? Maybe?

Well, I finally broke down and called the VA to see about getting the ball rolling. I have an appointment to see a Nutritionist on May 13th. I did tell her that I was interested in WLS. She told me to start keeping a food log. I don't know if this will lead to WLS but I hope it is a start in the right direction.

Anyone out there have to keep a food log (journal) as one of the steps towards your surgery?
I have used Fitday in the past. I graze all day long. Anyone else have that problem?

Congratulations on taking that first step! Sometimes that is the biggest one. I never had to food journal before surgery but I've done it after surgery. I kept it up for probably about the first 6 months but then started again several months ago.

Yep, I most certainly was a grazer, preop and I still find myself slipping into it. That is one of the reasons I started journaling again and it has helped.

Good to now you've taken that step, Rebecca..

As for journaling, I didn't before, but I sure do now.. (I posted about it in another thread this evening.. under the Vitamin D thread, if you're interested in seeing how I do mine)..
