My Date with My Husband
Tonight Marc took me to Red Lobster, this was meant to be the last dinner date before my surgery on Thursday. I totally enjoyed my time with him and the dinner we shared. For the first time in my life I at snow crab, shrimp scampi & lobster, I also had fried shrimp on my plate, but I have had shrimp a trillion times I guess what I had was the ultimate well thats what it was called. I found out I deteste snow crab lol it is tooooo sweet for me. The lobster was alright, but wouldn't want it a lot. The shrimp was awesome and oh the bisquits they serve was out of this world. I think I consumed enought sugar, salt and garlic to last a life time lol....... but what was more imporatnt the my dinner date was the date himself. I cherrish these rare moments that we get to spend together with out teens hanging around. He'll never know how much it had mean to me that he took the time to treat me to a fine dinner just the two of us and not worry about the tomorrow's and all the what if's. I soon came to realize that he wasn't feeling good at all, but wanted this to be a special time set apart for just the two of us.... he set his own feelings aside just for me. He is so sweet. I am so blessed to have him in my life.

Too Weird
My mother and I went to Red Lobster on Friday night and both had the Ultimate Feast as well. It was actually a very late birthday dinner. We kept having to put it off because of other things going on. I can't say I'm in the same boat as you. I totally love snow crab and lobster. I pretty much have that every year. You know where I hope to get my protien after surgery. I sure hope I don't lose my taste for it.
Glad you had a nice night. Hope you get to have many more.

Glad to hear you had a good time!!! I agree with the not liking crab. It's not the taste I don't like, it's too much work for just a little meat. I have had shrimp a couple of times now post-op. It's great! Lots of protein! I'll be thinking of you and praying for you all week!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

Most excellent!!
I was going to choose Red Lobster for my last meal but my Brother-in-law treated me to the best Steak house in Dallas - Del Frisco's. I proceeded to have a 30oz Porterhouse with scalloped potatoes and tons of bread. AWESOME!
My surgery was on 4/7 and I have gone from 343 on 4/6 to 307 this morning.
Time with the one you love is the most important - isn't that why we have done this?

Well Suezq I hope you are happy!
I spent that evening (and 2 weeks prior to surgery scarfing down protein packets). Now 1 week post op I am still on protein packets. I just want some food!
