Default Got a good deal on a scale....

I wanted to pass this on to my TT friends, in case any of you are in the market for a new scale.

I recently bought this scale: Buy Tanita Scale, Ironman Model BC552 Online at drugstore.com at drugstore.com for $39.99 plus $5.99 shipping. I thought this was a really good deal, since it is $89.99 at Circuit City.

It's on backorder right now, meaning you can order it, but it won't ship for a week or two. It's a very nice scale, it does your body fat % (very accurate...almost exactly the same as what the scale at my surgeon's office does), total body water %, muscle mass, basal metabolic rate, and of course, your weight. It can save info for 4 people, if desired.

An added plus for me with this scale is that it uses regular AA batteries, instead of those funky non-replacable batteries or super expensive lithium batteries that a lot of scales have now. I already had a nice scale, but the non-replacable lithium battery was starting to go bad, so the entire scale had to be thrown away. What a waste!

I'm thinking it was either 330 or 370, but I can check for sure when I get home today.

dear Lord i tell you seriously you wont want a scale! I agree that for me after surgery even now 3 1/2 months after surgery my scale is my worst enemy i used to weigh daily and get so sad when i dont see it moving and then i put it up in the garage for a few weeks only to weigh in weekly. Well now because i know where it is and its still accessible for me, i'm weighing daily again and not seeing it move everyday so you see it really can become an addiction.
sorry for my venting but thats how i feel about scales. After surgery try not to weigh yourself daily

I have this one. It was their daily special thingy one day. I got it really cheap. Buy Tanita Scale InnerScan Model BC533 Online at drugstore.com
IF looking for scales Amazon has great pricing and shipping is free if you purchase something that ships from them and it costs over $25!
