Thanks so much everyone, I was just woken up by the phone, they had a cancellation and now I get to meet with my surgeon on April 24th instead of May 8th!!!! Congrats Amita, it's getting so close for you!!

YAY for you!
Congrats! My process was VERY quick...I am Tri-Care Prime and had MAJOR medical reasons for the surgery. I didn't have to wait long.

That is wonderful news. I remember when I got my letter of approval from my insurance I litteraly jumped up and down! LOL Imagine that! haha no don't.

Congratulations Jamie!! For me it was a long wait but that's because my surgeon wasn't happy with my lab results. It took me 5 months to get them where he liked them and then another 2 months to wait for surgery. I know if my labs had been good it would have been like about a 2 month wait from approval to surgery.

Hello, For me it was very fast, After all my tests and diet my insurance approved my surgery in less than a week. I had my appt with the doc on Monday April 7th and my surgery is scheduled for April 30th. I cannot wait !!!

Once approved (12/10)... it took about 2 months (02/05) to have my surgery... there were the holidays in there and vacations for the surgeons (they work as a team).... time did fly by quickly tho!
