Default Sad Sad News

Okay, so today was my 6 month anniversary....and check up. Dr. Callery's office is REALLY down right now. Since I see no mention of this on the board I guess I am the first from here to know. They lost a patient last night. I don't know male or female, but I know that this person was early 30's and two weeks out. My heart goes out to this person's family and to the Dr Callery, Kelly, and the staff at the office. They don't know for sure what happened yet, they are waiting on the autopsy results. That is all I know, sorry.

Tricia:

Do you know if it was Terri Lynn? That's the woman that Bridget told us about recently. She asked us to pray for her. The last time I checked the OH website, they said she was the same.

Wow...life is so short. This really brings to mind that this surgery is just that...SURGERY, MAJOR SURGERY. It's nothing to take lightly. We have wonderful, powerful, gifted surgeons, but nothing in life is guaranteed.

Sobering thoughts. All of you, my dear friends, take good care of yourself. I love you all.

Dara,

I am sorry, I just don't know. Kelly would not tell me if the person was male or female even.

Maybe that is why I kept getting the answering service when I called today. I called 3 times at 3 different times of the day and got the answering service. I am sad to hear this news and sad for the families involved, Dr. Callery and his staff.

When I was there at 3 there was only one lady on the desk and she was constantly on the phone it seemed. A bit understaffed it seemed.

From what I read, I thought Terri Lynne was in Oragne County and in her 40's?

I thought Terri Lynne is in Orange County, too. How is she?

That is so sad. I am so sorry to hear that. I just keep thinking "but for the grace of God, there go I" My thoughts and prayers are with the family and the staff at Dr Callery's office.

My heart aches for the family and our own family members, Dr. Callery, Dr. Potts, Kelly and staff. My thoughts and prayers for comfort are with you all!

Default PLease don't think I don't Care

My heart goes out to the family and I am sure this is tough on the medical group as well.

Having said that, this is really scary to a pre-op. Is there a way to get some details here? Were there any posted on OH? I tried looking at the California message board but there was no mention.
