Post Splenda

Has anyone had any problems with Splenda after surgery? Why? And if you didn’t, how soon after surgery did you start using Splenda?

Yes I have problems with splenda which really cut down on the sweet things I can eat. I have not had a desert since 2 weeks out. I tried many and got sick on all of them. No sugar free pudding, or sugar free cookies, or sugar free ice cream. The had one common thread. Splenda.... So for now they are off limits to me........ I don't know why they make me sick but they do. I have friend of mine that is not WLS patience she is naturally skinny and beautiful and splenda make her violently ill.

So Tiojoe If you just had surgery and splenda makes you sick don't go there right now. I use sweet in low in my tea without complication. I am kind of liking not being able to have sweet things I think it is a blessing in disguise. It will teach me new habits.

I don't have problems with Splenda. But thanks to Stuart, I am now using Stevia as a sweetner, this is all natural and you just need a tiny bit. I bought mine at Boney's (Henry's or Sprouts or whatever it is this month!) It is a little pricey but for the quantity you use it is well worth it. I now use it in my grandaughters kool-aid, etc.

Arrow Splenda Addict

Hi, my name is Dara, and I'm a Splenda addict.

I love it and don't know what I'd do without it. I have been using it since about three months post-op and have never had a problem with it.

My family is from the South where you have a little bit of iced tea with your sugar. Therefore, I sweeten my Diet Snapple with Splenda. I know, I know...it's ridiculous, but what can I say. I need it and, so far, it hasn't hurt me.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

My name is Christina, and I too am a Splenda addict. The stevia is great too and we just got some more. I have to figure out how much I need to use in my tea though. I've been lazy about that and have been using the splenda. I have to have sweet too Dara.. I'm a southern girl at heart..

Laura:

Let me qualify that...it's DIET Snapple. Not that it makes much difference, but it's not REGULAR Snapple. (Boy, am I trying to justify or what?!?!!)

Default My name is Amber and I am addicted to Splenda!

I like to sign up for Splenda users anonymous. When are we having the first meeting? lol I have had no trouble with it, but I have had some trouble with the sugar alcohols. I guess we are all different. I haven't tried the Stevia yet, but I'm going to now.

Thumbs up Splenda Stocks

With the random sampling of addicts on this website, it sounds like all of us need to purchase stock in Splenda. Besides, maybe then they would give us a discount!
