I can tell you that Irela needs to drink more!!! If she isn't drinking that much then I can tell you from personal experience.. that you can have some nasty side effects from that. If you want the details email me in private and I'll tell ya.. some things are better left off the board.. LOL

I'll just tell ya constipation being a major thing for not drinking enough.. and with that comes other problems and then some!!!

I myself have been using Splenda for probably 1 1/2 years now, and I am now 2 weeks post-op. I still don't have a problem with it... I love it, and as long as I have no problems, that will be what I use til they say I can't, lol...

I think you can use Splenda now, if you can tolerate it. The drinks they said were Crystal Light & Propel, I don't know if they have splenda in them. I'm lucky, I really don't like sweetners. I would try a little and see how you do.
