Red face Wow moments in the shower...

So, today I was showering after going to the gym and I found a weird hard lump in my side. For a split moment I freaked out since I've had several strange health crises in the last year and a half and am wary of finding lumps in my abdominal area. But the next moment I realized what it was -- my hipbone!!! Sure enough, there was a matching one on the other side, LOL. I stood there for several moments in happy bemusement -- can't remember the last time I had actual bones I could feel in that region of my body. I still have a small roll of fat/skin around my lower belly, but just above that I curve way in and there they are -- hipbones!!

Also, ladies, can I get a heck yeah about how much easier it is to shave legs now!? Whoop whoop!

Nyn~
Very cool "wow".I too freaked when I kept feeling around my rib cage.Where it meets in the middle, there is the sternum...It sticks out , I can even see it when I stand up.

You know what I find interesting is, I look very different at 130 now than I did at 130 ,15 years ago.I guess it is youth, muscel tone. I look about 20 lbs lighter now.Odd to me.

Enjoy your bones & Thank you for the very nice, unexpected PM this afternoon. I was just thinking to myself what a bummer we didn't get to meet while I was in SF.

I'm SHOCKED that no other guy has responded to this...when I saw "wow moment in the shower," I clicked pretty quickly!

That's awesome!

And as far as shaving the legs goes, well, I can't say as I've ever done that...but it definitely feels great to be able to tie my shoes...and not HAVE to wear slip ins just so I wouldn't have to bend down!

Great moment! Thanks for sharing!

Sorry happy for you!

I'm afraid I may have been born WITHOUT hip-bones...but I guess I'll have to wait and see, huh? But I do know that I had a collar-bone at one time.
