Default no weight OR inches coming off!

Hey everyone! I am 2 months out from surgery TODAY (yay me!) but have a few concerns... I have only lost 2 or 3 pounds in the last 3 weeks! I also think I have been eating too much which probably doesn't help. I just need to get back on track, but the weight AND inches not coming off is really concerning me... Should my weight loss slow down that much so soon after surgery? I have even been working out a few times a week, what gives?!?!

And does anyone have advice on how to get back on track as far as eating is concerned?

Lins

I just went through the same thing. I pumped my protein intake from an average of 70 to an average of 100 per day and my weight starting dropping again.

Hi there,

Well done on your achievement so far.

BUT

You have answered your own question- you are eating too much.
Look we all hit plateaus... Big Jeff explained it very nicely- you are climbing down a flight of stairs and every now and then you reach the landing and you are still walking but you will only get to the stairs down if you keep walking...

So- back to basics for you:
1. Keep a food diary
2. Protein first, then veg, then and only then if there is space Carbs
3. Sip sip sip the water
4. Change your routine in exercise a bit. Do different stuff or just climb stairs, park far away from your destination etc
5. Cut out all the wrong foods... don't look at me like that - you know what you've been eating!

Check out the back to basic references- do a search!

We've all been there ( I just hit a month one) but it gets better and you will lose again!

i refuse to look at the scale anymore.

my emotions are sky-high i have a lot of other things going on with my body right now, that are going to require me to deal with a possible plateau or slowwwwww loss this week/month. nothing i can do... to get my proteins in, i take the whey vanilla powder about a scoop, mix it in my blender w/ strawberries ,1/2 banana &about 1/3cup of water (depends how you like it). and it makes a nice tasting smoothie... i also freeze it sometimes.. and eat it with a spoon.. its kind of like a 'dessert' for me.

thats just a lil idea though.
