I agree with Duckie and Deidre, there are so many other real life threatening isues, that you should reevaluate all of them instead of picking up on this.
I am since the beginning of the surg - 4-5 months constantly constipated, have quite some issue with vomiting, with many strictures, my skin looks uggly at the bailey, BUT:
- I lost 33 kg (abut 72 lbs) in 4 months
- I look really great (compare to before), men do make me compliments DAILY at work
- I CAN DO SPORT,
- I DO NOT HAVE ANYMORE ASTHMA
- I DO NOT HAVE ANYMORE JOINTS PAIN, NO BACK PAIN, NO LEG PAIN !!!!!!
- I am NOT OBESE ANYLONGER
- Overall I am healthier and not to talk about my Cholesterol/Hb1Ac/TRIGL/ and other variables that can lead to yakkie diseases like MI or diabetes- all these values are NORMAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is why the health insurances are paying them
Every person reacts differently, the bottom line is that you take a big risk short-term ( IT IS A MAJOR SURGERY), and risk long term as well (osteoporosis, anemia and anything else we do not know). You put all in a weight-balance, and then take your decision.
Take care
