Long story short... a few months ago, our local newspaper interviewed me for one of their quarterly magazine publications, called "Body & Mind"-- they wanted to do an article about gastric Bypass surgery, and my hospital called and asked if I'd be interested in being interviewed. I said, "sure, what the heck"-- figuring it was probably going to be a big article, they were probably interviewing lots of people and maybe I'd end up with a quote in it or something.

Well, it ended up being a rather extensive interview, they requested pre-op and post-op photos, and they even sent a photographer out a couple of times to shoot some MORE photos.

The magazine came out this week, and guess what? I'M ON THE COVER!!! How crazy is that?!?!
