how long were you on a liquid diet?
The literature that I recieved from my doctor and dietician indicates I will be on a full liquid diet for 3 weeks! I am merely a week in and this is killing me! I need something solid.
How long were you all kept on the liquid diet after WLS?

I'm checking in ... day 10 of 14... it's going very well for me, but I've had major distractions - so food has not been in my face or on my mind.
I have to do liquids 2 weeks following surgery, then onto "mushies"

I think I was on scrambled egg within a week and progressed from there, try it and if it goes in and stays in, all is good.

No liquid diet before the surgery and then only 1 week after surgery. Week 2 we moved onto soft foods.

I went through the same surgical center that you did, and yes, I did three weeks as well. It does get tougher as it goes, but I survived by drinking lots and lots of water and protein drinks. Hang in there, you will typically lose a lot of weight during this phase, and then stall for a few days in the middle of your puree phase as your weight adjusts downward.
