Talking Trying on clothes is fun... FINALLY!

I just had to share the good news - I decided to go try on some clothes so that I could see what size I was in preparation for tomorrow's clothing exchange in East County. Well, was I surprised! In almost 7 weeks, I've gone from a 26 shirt to an 18 and a 28 pant to a 22!

O H M Y G A W D!

It's been such an incredible ride - I can't believe how fast it's all happening. My only teeny-tiny complaint is that I seem to be melting from the top-down! I wasn't pear shaped before, but I'm certainly getting that way!

I try my clothes on about every 2 weeks. I have shrunk from a 3x top to a medium and sometimes a small. I have gone from a 28 pant to a 12 pant in 6 1/2 months. Along with that I have lost 104 pounds. My daughter watches me when I try on the smaller sizes and she says to me, " Mom you are a princess." that is so cool.

Default The Incredible Shrinking People

Barbara:

I'm so happy for you! I've been shrinking too, although not as much as you. I was about a size 22 on my surgery date. This morning, getting dressed to be on an interview panel at work, I took a chance that my size 18 three-piece suit would fit. It did! It felt so wonderful knowing that I'm on my way down--for the last time.

Here's to recapturing the lower end of our wardrobes!

Default So happy for you

I'm so happy for you. You must feel just wonderful. I went from a 26-22 pants so far also. I could probably squeeze my butt into a 20 but I am all about comfort.. lol

So it looks I will be bringing my boxing gloves to the clothing exchange tomorrow afterall.. LOL (Inside joke)

Oh and about the pear shaped thing.. girl I have the same thing.. I finally have bones in my shoulders.. and can't seem to find the ones in my hips..

Don't worry it all evens out somehow..
