Dearest Members of the WLS Community,

I need all of your help building the ultimate guide for Weight Loss Surgery for people on Medi-Cal. With your help we can help so many others. If you could take a moment of your time and post your experiences and the Medi-Cal procedure it took for you to get approved, that would be so awesome.

Lets face it, the people that need WLS the most are the ones that don't know or can't wiggle their way around the system, and they end up in the familar circle of shame and self-abuse. I was one of the lucky ones, and I had a means to get my WLS through private insurance, but for many this isn't a reality. Many are on Medi-Cal because they are low income or under the states care.

From the postings we can then compile a guide for those on Medi-cal. If you know of doctors that were receptive to Medi-Cal post them as well.

Im sure they would be the most appreciated, I mean how did you feel when you rediscovered yourself in the mirror after years of being lost.
