I too have an electric blanket on our bed. Friends of ours had the heated mattress pad and said we should try that intstead. I bought one...Let me tell you...the electric blanket is a thing of the past for me now...lol. The heated mattress pad is AWESOME...much better thasn the blanket. My husband loves it. Gave my electricblanket to our daughter. Our heated mattress pad has two controls, one for each side of the bed. So my husband can have his side turned down while I have my cranked up as I am always freezing also. I would highly recommend the heated mattress pad instead of the blanket. It seems to keep me much warmer. Hot air rises so with the mattress pad underneath rather than a blanket on top it keeps you warmer. Good luck with it. If you get one let me know how you like it.

heated maattress pads......awesome!!!
When I first lost weight I was so cold even in the summer.thats when my husband bought me ours...got a great deal being it was 90 degrees outside.....but I love it year round..we are going to Idaho for the Holidays and I am seriously thinking of dragging this thing with me.
Each of our kids have one on their beds also.saves on the heating bills!!!
love it love it!!

My hubby did not get replaced, instead he gets to snuggle up to a toasty wife instead of a frozen shivering popsicle!!! He loves it too, the King size has 2 controls.perfect for us!!!

Laura My husband I have heated mattress pad and there are two controls. So he can Have his on and I can have my off or vice versa. He right now has his turned off and my is cranned right up to the highest it will go. Look for one like that. Just a suggestion.
