Angry Day 3 of 2 week Liquid Diet

Did I happen to mention that this "Sucks Balls" sorry Lady's
It's not like I am all that hungry, And it's not that I want to admit that I have a "Oral Fixation". I just want to CHEW something! Not to mention I"m Grumpy as hell. My pore kid, I think that I have snapped at every little thing She does wrong. One of the few times I have regretted being a single parent. Sorry I just had to rant.

Well, sorry to hear your are enduring that. Try to get busy with something to keep your mind off it. I know it sucks, but you will be through it in no time.

Keep your chin up!

Hang in there, Chip. The grumpiness will pass. I was a big bear on my pre-op diet, but it only lasted a few days ( a big mean bear...not a teddy bear like Jeff. ).

Isn't jello considered liquid???? You could "chew" on that to cure that chewing craving you're having..... provided you are allowed jello.

You'll make it through the next 11 days just fine and your surgery will be a complete success.

Im having the same tough time.. thankfully i am only on a liquid/soft food diet 1 week prior to surgery....

Its tough.. and sometimes I want to go get a burger, but i have to think of the long-term and i'm doing this NOW for my future...

Im not going to lie.. i have oasis-type visions of cheeseburgers taunting me... and today i pretended that my mashed potato was a steak... but i will be okay... 4 days to go for ME! .. my sis goes in for surgery at 545 am tmrw.

The liquid diet does suck. You think you can't get through it, but you can. I did snap and had some chicken fiesta salad from El Pollo Loco. Oh, and a sandwich. I can't believe I still lost 14 pounds in those 2 weeks! It was nuts! In any event, even with my "badness", my surgery was fine...so try not to stress, and please eat something rather than to take it out on the child!

Hey i know its a lil off topic, but has anyone had like sneezing and sniffling and been denied when they went into the hospital for surgery?

MY ALLERGIES ARE KILLER.. like.. insaneeeeee and i'm worried that they wont do the surgery. The only reason they are so bad is because I was told to stop ALLLLLL medication, which means my allergies flare up 2000 xs worse.

S.O.S. : )

She is 11, and yes she does understand as a matter of fact she was reading my posts last night with me and gave me a big hug and told me she loved me and I wasn't that bad. And I was the best dad she could ask for.
