Default A silly WOW!

Well I had kind of a silly WOW today. I was out for a walk and enjoying a beautiful Fall day. I wasn't paying much attention to where my feet were going. I tripped over a bump in the sidewalk and went flying. Don't worry, only a few little scraps....but the WOW was, that I could actually get myself back up off the ground without crawling to a tree first to pull myself up!!!

First fall since my wls....and yeah...it was a "WOW"!

YAY Beth!

A fall in the fall...

My DH has decided to try to figure out what is making our vinyl floor in the kitchen go dark in areas - and bought some stripper (I've NEVER waxed my floor)... so I was on my knees scrubbing... and spent the time worrying how I'd get up... I can't wait for the day for this concern to disappear!

Glad you're ok... Congrats on the newest WOW moment!

Oh man, I understand that feeling, Katie. Whenever I did brave going to my knees when I was MO I had to plan ahead of time what I could grab to get myself up off the ground. You know when I fell today that thought actually went through my mind...."oh dear, I'm wondering if I'm going to be able to get myself up off the ground." It honestly amazed me that I didn't have any trouble at all! You know I still can't get used to being able to do things that I couldn't 200 pounds ago. Those little wow's still kind of take me by surprise and make me giggle. *L*

Beth,
It's post like this that are so incouraging... I am so looking forward to being able to get up without causing a scene. Often times I'm working around my pond and can't move around too well. Alot of rolling around, I'm sure the neibors are amused at times!

Thanks guys...yeah, I am a little sore....still from that tumble, so it isn't really a WOW I care to repeat too often. *L* But it still was a WOW!! Like "WOW that hurt BUT WOW I could get up without the help of a tree!!" It still kind of makes me smile.
