Default Just had surgery...

Hello all I have only posted a few things here but I decided that it was time that I posted my story. I managed to get through all the hoops of the insurance and everything and the pysch exam. I went in for surgery October 5th, 2007 in Minneapolis. I had the surgery done at the U of M Fairview hospital by Dr. Sayeed Ikkramudin. Everything went fantastic and there was no complications! So far I am a week and a half out and my diet just got advanced. I am now eating pureed foods rather then just drinking liquids. So far I have lost 26 lbs down from 399 to 371. I suffer from Type II Diabetes and I currently am taking Insulin to manage it since I cannot take pills yet. So far everything thing has been good its just remembering everything that I have to do.

Thanks Toony. I know I am a young pup but I though this would be better for me in the long run. So far I have been following the instructions and it has went well. I cannot wait to get off of the insulin injections. I have at most only another three weeks of it to go. I will post a picture here sometime soon so you can see my before pictures before I really start to lose the weight.
