As for taste buds. Mine are still different 8 months out. Simply put. I eat to live, not love to eat. I see food as fuel, not good or bad, just fuel for my body, so I try to make the healthest choice in food. I do love eating beef (steak) more on the med/rare side, as before WLS I would eat my steak med/well. I also want though times of liking eggs and cheese, then not wanting them. Tuna was a staple for me.

How long - Still, I think it will be with me for forever, but not as intensly. In the begin, the first 2 to 3 months, I need the highest emotions with food. In around, month 4 to 5, sex hormones went CRAZY. I start back on birth control pills. How off birth control pills because of mirgraines and sex hormones seem to be normal. How my emotion roll a coasters is it on "head." I still think of myself as the fat girl at 300 pounds. Even though I have lost 100 pounds. When I look in the bath mirror, I "see" my Mother looking at me, then I tell myself, No silly it me.
