Default Maybe a Dumb Question but

What exactly is a TT Gym Rat? Why the #? Just curious.

Also, an exercise question - how much, how often? I am asking because I was just sent for x-rays of my left arm (more than likely tendanitis or a rotator cuff injury - of course I don't remember doing anything to it specifically). So, high impact exercise is out of the question - goes right up my arm into my shoulder and neck! I thought of the treadmill (which I love to do and use to do regularly but... I also move my arms (swing them or bring them up into fists).

Any ideas for low-impact type exercise? Thanks to all who reply.

That sort of sums it up. Basically - anyone trying to exercise to health can be given a number (we're thinking of doing t-shirts) assigned by John - the exercise Guru of the forum. Just post a reply and ask for a number. John is very generous - there are no tests, quizzes or physical exams.

As to low impact, I would find an eliptical or arc machine. Some have the cross country arm things, but some are stationary. You could also ask a trainer at the gym if they have any ideas. Recumbent bike would be a good choice too.

Good luck!
