I I turn 35 today, not afraid to share that with you all...lol I have something to share.

Previous to my current outlook on life (pre GBS) I never really was happy on my birthday, something just wasn't right for me. Nothing was planned the way I thought it should be.

This year has been a whole new start in life for me. As I turn 35 today, I am almost 10 months post-op and looking forward to my birthday today. No bells and whistles. My husband is the high school football coach here and has a big game tonight about 2 1/2 hours away. Soooo for my day today, my daughter and I are going to road-trip to his game. We're going to rummage on the way there, go to all the thrift stores we find along the way, then go out to dinner before the game.

I just felt the need to share with you all that I am truly happy today. I don'f feel my age and they all tell me I don't look it either.
