Default My son talked about what happened with Dad!!

Tonight i was taking my son ( Lyncoln) to the library for a story teller and when we were in the car he asked me if i was mad at daddy. It caught me off guard and i was quite for a few mins. Then he said "Hello Mcfly" which my mother taught him. I told him that i was upset with daddy because he had done something bad. He was quite for a min and then he said "you mean what he did to my arms". I said yes it wasn't right for daddy to do that. So he replied "are you going to make me get a new daddy" and i said "no son you will never have a new daddy. Daddy just needs to know what he did was wrong". So he said " well i think he is sorry" and i said "i know he is" then he said. "mom i love my dad" and i said " your daddy loves you to". So he didn't say anything else about it until we were walking to the car and then Lyncoln said "mom my dad loves me so much that he would love me if i didn't have any hands and that's a whole bunch." I had to stop walking for a min and look down at him. I son't know where he comes up with this stuff. It got me thinking and i really hope his therapy works out because our children love him very much. I mean how many dad's would love their children if they didn't have any hands.,

You handled that so well. I am praying that things will work out for your family - I have a good feeling they will.

That's so cool, and good for you and your handling of it.

Daddy being out of the house must be really scary for him.
