Default Step away from the Dale and Thomas popcorn

OMG....our mall opened a Dale and Thomas popcorn store. I don't even like popcorn. Never really ate more than one piece at a movie pre op.

Then I tasted heaven (Do you hear the birds chirping???) White chocolate peanut butter salted popcorn. I dug right in forgetting all the rules after the first taste. I stopped myself after about 1/2 a cup and realized I was dumping in the middle of the mall.

So I bought the bag (lol) and went and sat down.

I just looked up the nutritional content. I could have done worse, but boy how the mighty can fall in one fell swoop. I really thought I was strong. I thought I had it together after 20 months.....just when you least expect it those habit can reappear like a meteor in the night.

The bag is sealed and NO MORE!!! Forgive me TT sister and brothers for I have sinned big and needed to confess.

Default Thou art absolved...

Go forth and sin no more, girlie... and I dumped this afternoon from about two tablespoons of catsup - ketchup - however you want to spell it. Just had an urge for it at lunch, had some with a few hashbrowns (and turkey that I peeled out of a club sandwich...). Dump city, hot sweaty, dizzy, feeling like crap. Lovely.

I think it started in Chicago and one year was one of "oprah's favorite things" at christmas time. They sell pop corn and pretzels with a million seasonings and combo's of white choc. , choc. peanutbutter, caramel.

Here is their website.

http://www.daleandthomaspopcorn.com/

Great gift as it isn't just your plain popcorn in a tin. Of course for the non bariatric, non weight challenged, no diverticulosis, non diabetic, non hypertensive.......Oh hell....does that leave anyone???

Lisa....is Ketchup a particular problem or are you that sensitive?? I need my Ketchup on my egg beater omlets.

Vrrf, only for me, I think. Since the gall bladder surgery, I have weeks at a time where I can't handle more than a gram of sugar. That's where all the pain was coming from. Then I'll have a week or two where I can eat a handful of M&Ms and not even get sweaty. This is one of the no-sugar weeks. When it's at it's worst, I'm in serious pain, as well as dumping. Had my pancreatic enzymes checked, they're fine. I assume it will level out again at some point.

's OK - it's keeping me on the straight and narrow.
