Hello iam new to the board iam Liz. i live in Western new york state..

I have been thinking about having the surgery for alittle while now.. But i still have a few question!

Do i need to see my dr frist or can i go right to a doctor that will do the surgery?

i dont think my doctor will let me have the surgery even thought i know i should have it..

any advice?

If you want your insurance to cover the cost of the surgery, I believe you need a referral to the surgeon. If you want to pay out of pocket, you can go directly to the surgeon.

Hello Ladies and Gents,

I currently have medcaid (sp) i was told today when i called that they would cover the surgery.
