Question Resale Clothing Shops?

I've got a pile of clothes that don't fit any longer, and I can't remember the stores that buy plus sized clothing? Does anyone else know? I'm going to be able to bring quite a bit to the next clothing exchange, but I've got 4 or 5 pretty expensive suits that I'd like to try and get some money for...

Thanks!

Cool would have been nice

Barb, I really wish I knew of a place. I went back to work this year for the first time in 11 years. I have had a very difficult time finding nice cloths that fit right (and don't make me look like an old lady on a Bermuda vacation). I always wondered why clothing makers assumed just because you wear a larger size you would want a giant flower on the front of your shirt. Anyway, I am so close now that I really don't want to buy any new cloths, but I will ask around about a re-sale shop. I would love to find one as well.

These are the same designers who think form fitting sweaters with horizontal stripes look good on very pregnant women!

Default resale clothing shops

I read in the North County Times a few weeks ago that there is a resale store in Vista, on Williamston (small street off of East Vista Way). I haven't been there, but it is consignment and they prefer "gently used clothing". Since I live in Vista and am going through sizes like crazy, I thought I would check it out. Anne

There's a great place in La Mesa called Act II. It's located on LaMesa Blvd. They buy back clothes on Sat mornings. You have to call @ 9:30am and make an appointment. Also, you need to have all the clothes on hangers. They only except modern clothing and they want them to be in season. Just to warn you you won't get that much for them, but it's better than nothing. Good Luck!

Wink It's amazing how quick they fall off!

There's a place called "Great Curves" located in Point Loma/Old Town. You do need to make an appt. and do the hanger thing there too. It's consignment, out right. It's really a great store!
Maybe we should all have a garage sale one month and see how much we rake in from our old baggies!
Good luck chic'!

Hi, I was handed a flyer at Von's in La Mesa this weekend about a new re-sale clothing shop (new, used and accessories). It's called Ju'Lin Unique Expressions. Grand opened June 2nd. Hours Monday-Saturday 9:30 to 5:30. Address:

8047-C La Mesa Blvd
La Mesa, CA 91941
619-465-4312
Next to Works of Gold and The Barber Shop on La Mesa Blvd.

Let me know who you go to and how it worked out, I have some nice outfits I would love to try and re-sell, I've only worn them once to Christmans parties!!

O K as promised I asked Lydia the name of the shop she used. It is called Great Curves and the address is 2810 Lytton St in Point Loma the phone number is 619-224-9174. It is by appt. only. She had several very expensive suits she took there. I have a few expensive formals and semi formals that cost enough that I want to sell them. The regular clothes I enjoy giving away.
