First of all, besides being hilarious and sweet and fiesty and everything you know about Jen, she is REALLY TALL!! My god - she's going to just turn into a model as this weight falls off of her, which it will - the woman is a rock of resolve. She knows the rules, knows the deal and will not get down no matter what is thrown at her. This lady rocks!! I know you all know that, but I have the hugs to prove it now!!

Had a great time meeting at McDonalds (only place we could both get to, not being much familiar with the area) I arrived first and was searching for someone NOT eating. No luck. You know - there are a lot of MO people at McDonalds. After watching several Double huge greasy things diappear, I started waiting outside in the rain - much preferable. Gave a quick call and voila - Jen appears. She looks great. You would not ever guess she'd had surgery two weeks ago. (I was tempted to lift up your shirt to check for lap holes as proof, but restrained myself) We hightailed it to DD for decafs and gabbed like crazy. What FUN!!

We agree it is unlikely that you'll see me in the NY gathering, but I can still hope.

I am now making an "I love Jen" t-shirt. And what were we thinking - we never took any photos?? What is the point of a cell phone!!

I'll keep your number this time and call you while sitting around bored out of my skull next week.

LOL.. I'm 5'10"... not 6'! But.. that height hid a lot of weight for a lot of years. I had a GREAT time meeting you... Your avatar is decieving tho.. You are thinner than that in person!

I DO have lap holes! And its a wonder I didnt show you lol.. I show everyone else.

Gina is a trip. It was awesome to sit and sip coffee and chat. It was like we knew each other forever.. I guess thats what happens when we share our lives on a message board. I am envious of her arms/shoulders. She has narrow shoulders, and next to no extra skin on her arms.. she looks fabulous (and has big enough biceps that I wouldnt arm wrestle her!). .FUN stuff!

I got about halfway home (and yah, I decided I needed to check on my baby girl... instead of hightailing to moms).. and thought.. UMMM.. Hello! My cell phone was right in my purse and I drove away without pics! *laughs*.. oh well... I have your picture in my memory!

I hope you call me next week after you get home.. I want to know that you made it out safe and sound.. and are doing awesome.

You are going to sail through on friday!

I have a small excuse - my cell phone was dead and the charger was no where to be seen. Course, I guess I could have bought one.

Jen and I will get together again. The drive isn't too bad. Though hopefully it won't be in the rain next time!!

That "already know you" feeling is so amazing. I had that same feeling with Whitney earlier this year. It was like meeting again more than for the first time.

Hope your little girl is alright!

Yep it is funny when you meet someone from the board for the first time...it really isn't like a "first time meeting" because you feel as if you already know that person

Glad you two had a chance to meet up. Gina I hope to see you again since we are in the same state, and Jen...we need to gather, sweetie

I SOOOOO want to meet some other TTers in the flesh. It's like having extended fam all over the country, only we all like each other!

I have been so fortunate to meet my dear Marty, funny Patrick, charming Whitney, and of course all the Stapler peeps. It's been heart warming to speak on the phone with my distant loved ones! We are truly a fine bunch of folks. I'm jealous of the NY gathering and the Midwest hoedown--know that I am with you all in spirit, and some day I will be on your doorsteps wanting to come in!

(No reason to clean the house yet, though--I'll let you all know when I hit the road...

I wanna come to San Diego! Great bunch of folks there!!!!! And I would love a Texas get together. There may have been one when I first came on, but now I feel like I know so many people that have made such a difference in my journey!
