Pancreatitis is a big deal. I hope with bowel rest, the numbers come down. Take it real easy. Do you still have a gall bladder?? Are your triglycerides high?? There are many reasons including just plain ole post op pancreatitis. I hope you are feeling better day by day.

gallbladder is long gone, and triglycerides are low, my doc could not find a reason for the elevated levels

Great to hear from you!
Welcome back, so sorry for the rough time. Just take it slow and easy. Your plan regarding getting into your surgeon's office in NYC if necessary is a good one. I pray this is the last time you suffer from any major complications. I wish you a steady and complete recovery starting right now!
