I had my 1 year follow up with Kelly Neil yesterday at Dr. Callery's office.
She has a request for those of us who had our surgery at Palomar Pomerado Hospital. The hospital is looking for "exemplars", testimonials, if you will, about how Kelly Neil in her role of Bariatric coordinator has helped to form and develop your journey through weight loss surgery. They are looking for ways your overall journey, education, hospital stay and long term outcome have been influenced. From the introductory seminar, to your in-hospital visit, to your overall health and choices as a bariatric patient, they are looking for ways you've been helped by her involvement.
This is not to evaluate Kelly, personally. It is for accreditation for the hospital for magnet status...which will be a feather in the cap for the hospital, and its involvement with the community.
