I did not see the DR after the initial consult, but I did meet with a nurse a week before surgery. I signed papers and paid in full. I saw the Dr the morning of surgery and thats when he drew all over me.

Gina, I just had hernia repairs. When I met with the surgeon, he didn't set me up for any preop blood work, just gave me a sheet of instructions for being at hospital for surgery. Then three days before surgery, his office called and set up a pre-admit appointment for me with hospital at which time they drew blood ect. Maybe you'll get a call...
