Keith,
Watch the silver pendant swinging back n forth. Hear me saying in a soft soothing tone.."your eyes are getting heavy...you can hardly keep them open...your mind is at peace...your body is completely relaxed...and you are about to fall into a deep lovely sleep. Keep your eyes closed...no peeking...*yawn* your eyes are so heavy you can't keep them open. You will have sweet dreams about puppy dogs and happy times...and when you awake you will feel completely refreshed.

If you're still reading, Keith...I suggest you pretend to sleep, just rest. Pretending to sleep is sometimes just as restful as true sleep. You can sleep when you're in recovery.

Good advice about medications in the week before surgery...be sure to check with your doc on that. oh and (easy for me to say) don't stress...you know what's before you. It's all meant to be.

Sweet dreams!

Yoi're so cute, Lynda!! i almost got sleepy with your post Keith...you will be fine, and once they put you under and then on pain meds, this will be a blur Try some relaxation techniques...but remember that the more you try to sleep, the less sleep you will get...
