Oh me, OH MY!!!!!!!!
.......if I'm dreaming, don't wake me up!!!
Today I woke up to a 155 on the scale!!!!! I'm ONLY 5 POUNDS from my GOAL!!! And in only 3 small pounds I will be NORMAL!!!!
....AND.... from the little people.... (Yeah, that's ME...the LITTLE people!!) I want to officially thank the wonderful store of Christopher and Banks for making the reality of fitting nicely into a size 10 a reality!!! Yesterday I bought 2 size 10's that actually FIT!!! 2 weeks ago I tried on a size 10 in that store and I had to laugh at myself for thinking I could EVER zip up those size 10's!!!~
.....so like I said, if I'm dreaming
PLEASE....
DON'T WAKE ME UP!!!

Yeah, Laura it does feel amazing! I honestly haven't been allowing myself to think that I could see my goal weight BEFORE my plastic surgery...but now, well I don't know, I just might! Something sure kick started my weight loss again. I'm not sure what it even was but I hope it keeps it up!! With as much excess skin that I have I may even be looking at getting down into the 130's after my plastic surgery!! At the start of this journey I NEVER thought I could get that low!! My body has NEVER known that kind of weight!

Congrats!!! Wow! I can't believe how much weight you've lost! You must feel awesome! I just got into size 10's myself, and I agree, it's a WONDERFUL feeling!

Thanks Deb. To be honest, I walk. I wear a podometer that counts my steps and I aim for 10,000 steps a day. It motivates me to park further away from doors, take steps instead of the elevator, etc. It's amazing how many extra steps I can get in if I pay attention to it. I also take walks in my neighborhood to get up to that amount. 10,000 steps in a day comes out to about 5-6 miles of walking depending on your stride. I have found what works best for me is to make my exercise part of my organized day by changing my walking habits. I am also trying to incorperate some resistance like hands weights 4 times a day. I'm not an aggressive exercise person. I honestly have a hard time sticking with it, so for me I need to make my exercise part of my daily activities. I basicly make sure I MOVE every day. I'm not saying this is the best way...but it is the most realistic way for me and it seems to be working.

Way to Go Beth
Size 10 was where I bought my first brand new clothes in a small size... it was my personal goal. I remember the AWESOME feeling of walking into Gap and buying size 10 jeans... so glad you are experiencing the same thing!

Elanie you and I must be about the same height. It seems like we are getting into the same sizes about the same time and are close to the same weight. You know I don't think I ever wore size 10 pants. *L* Even when I wasn't MO I carried my weight in my thighs and butt and always had to wear like a size 14-16. NOW, at the same weight as then I'm in a smaller size. Only explaination I have is with age (it's been at least 30 years) I've lost muscle from my thighs and butt so subsequently I'm a smaller pants size at a bit higher weight.
Nette, thanks. I appreciate your support. I want to tell you that I think you are doing great! Take it easy on your body. I know when you feel good you feel like you can do SO MUCH but your body is still healing and it needs its rest.
