Beth!!!!!!!! Can you believe it????? Wow! I am so happy for you! Gosh, I hope I do as well as you have. What does your hubby say?????? I'm curious how the spouses handle this. Mine let's me know he notices by making gestures, but never talks about it actually. So, I'm wondering how the verbal type spouses show you they see such a difference. I'm having a problem still see this hugely obese peron in the mirror and in my head. I still worry that I stick out as "the frossly fat one in the crowd".

Funny you should say that about spouses... mine was very verbal with the compliments and then when I got down passed goal he started talking about how I must be embarrrassed being married to a fat slob and how I'm now going to start dating the pool boy "julio"... on and on and on... Ummm we don't have a pool!?! I finally told him to stop, I love him and honestly he doesn't look all that fat to me. maybe that's part of our/my warped sense of perception regarding my own fat body... when it was fat.

Anyway I must have finally gotten throught to him because when I bought a new phone last week and he programmed the numbers in for me... imagine my surprise when he called me one day and the name with his phone number was Julio.....LOL

Thank you all so much! I'm having a hard time believing the numbers on the scale, that's for sure!

Trina, in answer to your question my husband isn't all that vocal either. He does make comments though about my skinny butt. He also tells me once in a while that he is proud of me. And that he often doesn't recognize me if he is walking behind me. I don't know. I know he is proud of me but sometimes I would like to hear more from him. I wonder sometimes if it is somewhat of an insecurity thing on his part. He has a bit of a weight problem and really needs to lose about 70 pounds. He struggles with it so maybe he is kind of uncomfortable with me losing so much weight? I've asked him if it bothers him when other people including men, say how good I look. He tells me "No" and that he thinks I deserve each and every comment.

Oh Missy, I can't wait to see you in just a few weeks!! We are going to have so much fun!

No, I never dreamed I would be fitting into a size 10 pants, especially before my plastic surgery!! Now? I almost wonder if I will be in single digits by the time I am done??? I'll be wearing the smallest size in the family!!
