WOOHOOO!! How exciting. I'll be off work.. be careful.. I may show up and bug you while you heal! I'm needing places/people to visit.... and I'm guessing you arent going to be up for a picnic like a week after your surgery (since you are going for major surgery!).

I don't know if I can handle that compliment! If I have helped you to go kick some butt at the gym, than my surgery was worth it! Thanks!!

I think I will be in shock after this one. I just about danced out of the hospital after my open RNY, but the four drains... I may be down longer than I think. Also, I'll try tomorrow to have it moved to July 20th which would give me a little better chance of seeing every one August 4th. It would be so nice to do!

I'll be at Albany Memorial, by the way. Not Albany Medical Center. (I didn't know they were two different places...oops. How many hospitals can you fit in one city the size of Albany? Apparently about 5)

I'll keep you posted on how things are moving along. Thanks for the thought of visiting - I feel so loved! And just think, you'll get to see all those lovely scars while they're still fresh! Yikkkdeeelsiasdoihasd! I'd better not think about it, or I'll chicken out!

My insurance is amazing - very few like it. My plastic surgeon wrote a letter (no idea what he said, honestly) then my PCP sent a letter of support, saying she'd treated me for infections of the belly button that would be helped by a pannulectomy. I was about to remind my orthopedist who treated me for my back injury, to fax something over, and they'd already approved it. NICE!

So basically, for a panni, you need rashes and back pain. Good thing they didn't deny me, they were going to get a letter with TMI! Because this stupid thing is in my way when I'm trying to make love. And I would have given them gorey details, let me tell you!

Every company is different. No one covers breast lifts but most cover a reduction if you have at least 700...grams? I can't remember, but about a pound of tissue removed from each breast. I wish I had that much left!
