Hey, congrats!!! I have a stupid question though - since I'll be maybe looking at my own brand of repair work in the future. If this is too personal, please just let me know, just curious! If insurance covers the procedure - does that mean your deductible is $13K??? Yikes! Since I don't think insurance will cover mine (not medically necessary as it's not panni, but "tushy") - I'm just looking at the info now and the $$$$ shocked me!! I'm just assuming I'll have to pay the whole thing - so guessing totals here! I know all doc's and hospitals are different.

I am going to lose this tire!! This weird water balloon hanging around my waist that lands a second after I do every single step. THANK GOODNESS!!!
Okay, now I have to come up with 13K, but I'll deal with that soon enough.

I'm actually haveing a lot done - 6 hrs of surgery - YIKES!! I'm having a belt lipectomy which is the panni plus it goes all the way around and mastopexy, which is a breast lift. The panni is covered by insurance, the rest is not - that is the 13K. It would be about 20K w/o the insurance coverage.

You might feel weird if it is December!
I would do some research in your area, look at photos. I actually got to see live, up close people who had work done by my doctor. I mean this wonderful woman (She is about 60) had the exact same procedure done, and we were at a support group and she just pulled up her shirt, pulled her pants down just enough to show me the scar (though I could hardly see it) so I've really seen his work. This is VERY important!
My PS also held a seminar with photos of his work and answered an hour of questions. I feel REALLY good about him. My consult was crazy, but that is the nature of the beast.
If you have the money, it can all go quickly.

How very exciting for you Gina!
I know I have only recently been posting but I have read so many of your posts and feel that I know you. I am so excited for you. You have been such an inspiration to me and even though I don't work out near as much as you do I still do work out and it is in part because of your posts.
All the best
Laurie
