Thanks for the reminder. I watch very little television, but did watch most of Big Medicine. It was done well and seemed an accurate portrayal of living life MO. The surgeons seem to have a true passion for their work and their patients. Like many of you, I want to see the young 600+ lb man get his surgery and do well. I laughed when the older surgeon told him he was just a chicken, he had lots of life to live yet! The PS was amazing to watch and the results were even more amazing. I was hoping to see a bit more emphasis on improved lab results, BMI, reversal of things like diabetes and high blood pressure. Maybe as the show progresses, there will be a bigger focus on the improved health benefits. It's exciting to look better, smaller, prettier. I'm waiting for some of that...! But most of us did this for our health.
