Yes I remember this topic before, I am 8 months out and I freeze all the time. Everyone thinks I am nuts while they are running around in shorts and I am in my jeans and have a jacket. I would rather bundle up than be sweating like a pig all the time which is what I did with all the fat I had on me Blanket anyone? ...lol

I'm cold all the time but basically I'm missing about 85 pounds of insulation.... that and your blood is thinner now.

My daughter Becca is always cold too and she has been thin her whole life, we are excited when she passes 100lbs. The thing is she's not anorexic or anything just some women in our family are tiny and she got their genes thank goodness!

Anyway the point is the lower your body fat, the lower you tolerance for cold. For those of you that just had the surgery, it could be a response to the medications...anathestia is hard ont he body and feelign cold isnt' unusal for a while after surgery.

Wear a sweater... I have one with me all the time. My boss bought me a floor heater cuz I complained all the time about how cold I am... he's such a sweetie

You know, even when I use to be skinny - I never wore a heavy coat. I'd go through most winters in just sweatshirts or light jackets. And this includes northern Indiana winters.
Now though here it is in the low 60's and I'm looking for a sweater to put on. My wife is loving this as she is always cold.

Default Me too

It is like being a different person.

I am ALWAYS cold. I used to start using the air conditioner in my car in March. I'm still using the heater and its May!

Thumbs up

I have to agree. I thought it was just that my hubby tends to freeze me out at home, but it is happening at work, too. So I think it must "be me". I am always cold now (I am 4 months out of the surgery). As I type this, I am freezing...

Default The good side

It finally got hot this weekend and I must say, it is nice not to start sweating like a pig every time I walk out the door. Silver lining!

Default Freezing?

Yes my wife and I have both been freezing all winter and most of spring so far! I'm not sure if it goes away or not?
